Wasabi chi is my go-to spot in Des Moines for sushi. Their service is always so good, with great wait staff. My go to roll is the Crouching Tiger, and it comes with a truffle oil and unagi sauce...I usually offer to share my leftovers, but not when I order this!

The server we had was great! A couple of my friends & I were in a couple weeks ago & hadn't really tried sushi before & wanted to become sushi people...Our server explained the rolls to us & which ones were tempura which helped a lot because we weren't sure if we'd like raw/cold sushi...

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in the area. I do not enjoy fried sushi or sushi with cream cheese and avoid those rolls. What that tells you is that I care about the quality of the fish. This is the ONLY place in Iowa where I order sashimi and it is melt in your mouth delicious.

Very good sushi ! I really enjoyed my visit here for sure. Our service, food and drinks were all very good. The establishment was clean and easy to get to. The menu is reasonably priced with ample options. Definitely worth giving them a try if you're in the area and in the mood for sushi.

Best Des Moines sushi! The people, the service, the food, the drink . . . They are ALL fabulous! And you don't have to have the deluxe sushi rolls to be impressed. The spicy maki combo is my jam, but my all-time favorite roll is the Crab, Cream Cheese, and Mango roll. Love love love this place!
